Re: Can I take direct admission in IPCC after scoring 52.50% in B.Com Why one should get minimum 55%. You should leave the student on his fate of becoming a CA and give him admission. |

Re: Can I take direct admission in IPCC after scoring 52.50% in B.Com Hello friends................ I am Sorry to Say you are not eligible for CA-IPCC Directly Because of your Percentage Problem.... But you are eligible to apply for ICAI course Through CA-CPT Route.. However, those candidate fail to score required percentage marks at Graduation can apply for Foundation. There are no such minimum marks required for ICAI Foundation course. The candidate can apply for ICAI course through online mode and offline mode as well. All the best |

Re: Can I take direct admission in IPCC after scoring 52.50% in B.Com It is a good choice to go for the Chartered Accountancy course after completion of bachelor of commerce. IPCC is the Integrated Professional Competence Course is the second stage of Chartered Accountancy course. The eligibility criteria for direct entry into IPCC after completion of bachelor's degree is that candidate must have secured at least 55% in commerce stream and 60% in non commerce stream. As you have scored only 52.5% in bachelor of commerce, you are not eligible for the direct entry to IPCC. So you have to appear for Common Proficiency test. CPT is conducted twice every year by ICAI. Common Proficiency Test is conducted twice every year by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. It is an objective test of 200 multiple choice questions. So you will have to work on subjects like accountancy, mercantile law, economics and quantitative aptitude. So as to clear the CPT, you need to score 30% in each subject and overall 50% in whole test. Official website of ICAI is www.icai.org. |
