To apply for the Indian Air force Airmen Group Y recruitment, you are required to have completed your Class 12th in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized board of education. Re: Percentage required in 12th to apply for Indian Air Force Group-Y recruitment? Indian Air Force conducts Group-Y examination of recruitment of Airman-Y posts every year. Candidates have to go through three stages which are written, physical ability and medical examinations. Maximum age to appear in this examination is 21 years in month of June in the year of examination. Candidates with more than 50% marks in 12th board examination are eligible to appear in the examination irrespective of their choice of subject except for Medical Assistant Trade which require Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subject. |

Group Y (Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician) Trades You must have passed 10+2 examination with any stream/subjects, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Group Y Medical Assistant Trade You must have passed 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. |

To be eligible for Indian Air Force Group Y exam, you must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and English as your primary subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Also, you must have secured at least 50% marks in English subject. |
