Yes, you are over qualified for the job position. But that doesn’t mean you are not eligible to apply. The basic qualification required is graduation in any stream. Percentage of marks is not considered. Upper age limit is 30 years. Those who are professionally qualified can apply for Specialist Officer profiles.

The eligibility criteria for BANK PO exam :

*The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university.
*The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs.
*There is a relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates.

Hi,
I have got 54%in graduation and 65% in MBA. Am i eligible for Bank PO in any of the banks???
Plzz do reply m very confused.

Dear pal,
various banks conducts exams for admitting the aspirants to the vacancy available in it. Exam is conducted every year for the posts namely Probability officer and clerk .
The academic requirement for applying for probability officer is that the aspirant should have completed bachelor degree with 50% aggregate. For public sector banks the aggregate required is standardised as 50. For private banks it may vary. A relaxation of 5% is given for sc and st aspirant.
The age limit for appearing in the exam is maximum of 30. Relaxation in age is given in case of public sector units.
You need to have knowledge in the field of mathematics or accountancy etc. A basic computer knowledge is also required. Most of the questions in the exam includes mathematical basics

I have got 49.7% in graduation and 58% in post graduation. Am ieligible for Bank PO exam of any Bank.
