My daughter in in 8th standard ICSE board. They have optionals commerce and computer application. Which is best.

Yes, commerce student can also do Computer courses after passing 10th.

But commerce students cannot take admission to engineering courses in future.

For example, they can't take admission to "B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering" in any reputed engineering college.

However, commerce students can take admission in minor computer related courses like PGDCA, BCA, etc.

These subjects don't need basic knowledge of subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
