As you have completed your bachelor degree with 55% marks hence you are eligible to become Sub Inspector because as per the minimum educational qualification required to become police Sub Inspector is that the candidate must have completed bachelor degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks. |

Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should have passed graduation from any stream with 55% marks from a recognised University. Age limit:- Minimum - 21 years Maximum - 26 years. Selection procedure:- Prelims exam Main exam Physical test Medical test. |

Eligibility criteria :- - The candidate age should be in between 21 to 26 years. Age is relaxed for SC/ST by 4 years and SBC/BC by 2 years. - The candidate should be a Graduate in any stream from a recognized Central or State University. Selection in the Jharkhand Police Department depends upon a Computer Based Test (CBT). The Selection will be conducted in 4 stages: Prelims Exam Mains Exams Physical Test Medical Test Exam pattern :- There will be Objective Type Questions in both Prelims & Mains Exam. Each question will carry 3 marks. Negative Marking – 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Apart from Language Papers, the CBT will be conducted Bilingually, i.e. English & Hindi. |

This exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission. Only graduated candidates are eligible to apply for this examination. In this examination, first candidates have to clear the physical entrance test. Those who will clear the physical entrance test will have to appear in the written examination and then the interview. The minimum educational qualification to become police Sub Inspector is bachelor degree in any discipline with 50% marks from a recognised University. |
