As per the information you have mentioned in your query, your son was born on 12th July 2016, so he is 2 years 5 months old as of now, so he is not eligible to take admission in any class in CBSE school for the academic year 2019-20. |

But the school may have their own criteria to provide admission. According to me, your ward can get admission in Junior KG in the next academic session 2019-20. |

Re: What is the age criteria for JUNIOR KG in schools affiliated to CBSE? Students' date of birth should on or before of 30/09/2015 to get admission in Junior KG schools affiliated to CBSE. Being born on July month of 2016, your son is eligible to get admission in Nursery. |
