You must have done bachelor's degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university or college. 2. The age limit is 20-24 years. 3. Minimum height is 162.5 cms. You are not eligible for Indian Air Force with 160 cms height. |

Only Unmarried male candidates who are in the age range of 16.5 to 19.5 years are eligible to apply for NDA examination for joining in Indian Air Force as per UPSC guidelines. So, being a female candidate, you are not eligible to apply for NDA examination for joining in Indian Air Force. |

The minimum height required for female candidates to join Indian Air Force for flying branch through AFCAT is 162.5 cms. The age criteria is 20-24 years. B.Tech from a recognized university is minimum academic qualification. You are not eligible as per physical requirement. |

Re: Eligibility criteria and procedure to join Indian Air Force for female candidates? Female candidates can apply for Air Force Common Admission Test for joining Flying branch of Indian Air Force. The minimum height required for the flying branch post is 162.5 cms. Your height is less than required threshold for Pilot. Bachelor of Engineering candidates with at least 60% marks. |

No, you are not eligible to appear for Indian Air Force examination in flying branch as per your physical qualification. The minimum required qualification to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree and have passed 12th with Mathematics and Physics as main paper. The age limit is 19-23 years. The minimum required height for recruitment in flying branch is 162.5 cm. |
