Biotechnology is a multidisciplinary area and has been programmed to meet the demand of man power for any biotechnology activity in the country. With reference to JNU i.e. Jawaharlal Nehru University I will be talking about the exam and its eligibility so that you can get an idea whether you are eligible for taking admission or not.

JNU conducts a combined entrance examination for admission into 2 years M.Sc program in Biotechnology on behalf of many universities like University of Allahabad, Annamalai University, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and more. There are 10 - 30 seats are available for this course in every university.

Talking about eligibility, you must have a bachelor's degree under 10+2+3 pattern in Physical, Biological, Agriculture, Veterinary and Fishery sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering or technology, 4 years of B.Sc or Medicine MBBS or BDS with at least 55% marks from recognized university. Vinayaka Missions University is established under Section 3 of the UGC.

If you have all your certificates in your hand i.e. passing certificates, migration certification, provisional certificates then yes you can apply for M.Sc in Biotechnology in regular mode.
