Re: What should be the age to appear in CBSE 10th board exams in 2020? Generally 10th class will be done at the age of 15 years but no issues it can be done in the age of 14 also. Asvani sharma who is in 7th class with date of birth 15/02/2007 can write the 10th class examination in the year 2021 where as chetna sharma who is in class 8th having 13/05/2005 as her date of birth can write the 10th class examination in 2020. As far as you are concerned about the age criteria for appearing in CBSE Class 10th 2020 board examination then for your information I would like to let you know that the minimum age for the same is 14 years by the 1st October of 2019. Further there is no maximum age limit for the same. So as per your information the Asvani Sharma being born on 15/02/2007 and being a student of Class 7th is likely to appear in his board examination in 2121 where as the Chetna Sharma is expected to appear in her board examination in 2020 and as per their date of birth and minimum age required for appearing in Class 10th board examination both the candidates are eligible for appearing in their respective board examination. |

CBSE refers to Central Board of Secondary Education and same is one of the three national board of education offering education upto higher secondary school degree with its school all across India. As far as you are concerned about the age limit for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examinations then it is 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which the candidate is pursuing his/her Class 10th. So as per the above mentioned age criteria it is expected that both Asvani and Chetna are eligible for appearing in their respective board examination in 2020 and 2021 as far as the age criteria is concerned. Re: What should be the age to appear in CBSE 10th board exams in 2020? The exact age criteria are not declared by CBSE or any other board. But schools allow students after 13 years to 14 years. If your child is about 13 or 14 years old then he/she will be eligible to appear in coming board examination in 2020. |

As per the information you have mentioned in your query, your child's DOB is 16-12-2017 and 13-05-2005, the candidate who is born in the year 2005 is eligible to appear in CBSE 10th standard board examinations in 2020. |

But this will depend up on the school administration and the state government who decide the age criteria for 10th standard students. One of your ward with DOB - 15/02/2007 completes their 13 years at the time of 10th examination and your second ward with DOB - 15/05/2005 completes their 14 years (approx.) at the time of 10th examination. And according to me, both are eligible for the 10th standard examination. If the school administration will not object on this. |

What should be the age to appear in CBSE 10th board exams in 2020? We have two family members which have dob is 15/02/2007 his name is asvani sharma now in class 7th and 13/05/2005 his name is chetna sharma now in class 8th. Are they eligible for class 10th?
