For Public Service Commission examination conducted by Gujarat PSC the required minimum educational qualification is bachelor degree. So, only candidates with bachelor degree or higher qualification are eligible to appear in examination. Diploma holders are not eligible to appear for the examination. So, once you will complete the bachelor degree you will become eligible to appear for the examination. |

Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. * You must have completed your graduation degree course in any discipline from a recognised university. So, having completed your Diploma in Petrochemical technology degree course, you are not eligible to apply for Gujarat PSC unless you opt for a graduation degree course. Candidates after qualifying in all stages of examination will become eligible for recruitment. The eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit is 21-28 years with relaxation for reserved category. So, you are not eligible to appear in examination with higher qualification as diploma only. |

The eligibility to appear for GPSC examination for selection as an officer in the state service is that :- Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. Candidate's age must be between 21-28 years with relaxation in upper limit for reserved category. So, you will have to pursue the bachelor degree to become eligible to appear for examination. |
