Re: Will I be able to appear for IES exam after doing Environment Engineering As far as your educational qualification is concerned you are eligible for the exam but you should note down that there is no Environment Engineering subject in Engineering Services Examination. There are four categories in the Engineering Services Examination I. Civil Engineering II. Electrical Engineering III. Electronics & Tele-communication Engineering IV. Mechanical Engineering You will have to choose any one of the above mentioned category for appearing the exam. As you are an Environmental Engineering student, all the above mentioned engineering discipline are completely different so you will have to study everything from the start of whichever engineering subject you choose. If you can manage to do that then you can definitely apply for the exam. http://www.upsc.gov.in/ |
