You are not eligible to get admission in the B.E Chemical Engineering course after the diploma in Mechanical engineering course. So, you are not eligible to get admission. As candidates are eligible to get admission in the lateral course in the same stream in which they have completed the diploma course. You are eligible to get admission in the 2nd year of course through lateral entry. |

Academic qualification: Diploma in Engineering candidates need to apply for Lateral Entry Entrance Test for admission in second year of engineering. LEET is conducted by State Technical University for admission of diploma candidates in second year of Bachelor of Technology course. Diploma candidates with minimum of 60% marks can apply for LEET exam. Candidates can take admission in second year of engineering depending upon their performance in LEET exam. |
