Re: Possibility to get lateral BE Chemical admission for Diploma Mechanical student? You are not eligible to get admission in the B.E Chemical Engineering course after the diploma in Mechanical engineering course. So, you are not eligible to get admission. As candidates are eligible to get admission in the lateral course in the same stream in which they have completed the diploma course. You are eligible to get admission in the 2nd year of course through lateral entry. |

Eligibility criteria for LEET exam: ~~Minimum of 60% marks in diploma to apply for LEET exam Your score in LEET exam will decide your college and stream in B.E course. |

It is possible to get admission in lateral entry mode in Bachelor of Chemical Engineering after Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Academic qualification: Diploma in Engineering candidates need to apply for Lateral Entry Entrance Test for admission in second year of engineering. Minimum of 60% marks in diploma is required to apply for LEET. |

LEET is conducted by State Technical University for admission of diploma candidates in second year of Bachelor of Technology course. Diploma candidates with minimum of 60% marks can apply for LEET exam. Candidates can take admission in second year of engineering depending upon their performance in LEET exam. |

Possibility to get lateral BE Chemical admission for Diploma Mechanical student? Hi Sir, I am studying Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course. After completing my Diploma, I want to get lateral entry for BE course with Chemical Engineering specialization. So, is it possible for me to get lateral entry or not? |
