is it necessary to clear gate exam to apply for govt jobs after doing b.tech from cse trade....?? if not all then can i get the list, which govt sector job requiers the gate score and which doesn't..!!.. and how to apply for those jobs which does not requier any gate score....?? and may i know about the best sorce from where i can practice for aptitude exam in a best way...?

You can pursue distance education and then can work in public sector.But that will be only when you are employed through your intermediate results.In public sector you are appointed only when you submit your certificates in original at the time of joining.So it is not possible for you to work and study full time at the same time in engineer cadre....You can apply for exams in final year but you can only get a job when you produce certificates at joining time.

I appeared 10+2 exam in 2007 with six subject. But in che (th), I failed in th of chemistry and it was gone in additional .but since I was passed in five sub. So result was 'pass'. Then I appeared in compart for che since che was not mentioned in passing certificate. In compart result I got 50(24+26) in che(th +pra) with remark 'appeared for improvement.' but i didn't get passing certificate for it. Then I again appeared in improvement exam in 2008 for all subjects. And I passed in all paper. But in some paper I Scored less marks than 2007. And l also got a passing certificate mentioning che also. I want to know that how will I calculate my agg. Percentage. Can I use max marks for percentage including both 2007 and 2008 marks sheet? Can I get single mark sheet for it from board? Presently I am doing b.tech.(C.S.E.) Batch :2008 -12. In which company I can apply as fresher? Marks of 10,10+2,b.tech. Are 78.2%,58.67%,75%+ with one year gap due to improvement exam in 2008 . Send reply on : [email protected]

i v completed btech in computer science in the year 2005 with a percentage of 64%.after that i was working as a software developer for 1.8 yrs.but now i want to know about can i apply for any government jobs like in public sector or in research lines.plz let me know asap.

You have completed your B-TECH in COMPUTER SCIENCE. But your graduation marks is must be 60% above because below mention organization have criteria is above 60% in graduation . This percentage is vary from organization to organization.

So you have many options to go like govt sector ,private sector or higher study also.

The govt sector options are -DRDO , BARC , BANK PO ,ONGC , ISRO , NIC , IGDR , UPSC EXAM , BSNL JTO etc.The age limit for those organization is maximum 30 years .Age relaxation provide only for SC/ST /OBC candiadte.

Also you are eligible in private sector also . the private sector company are TCS ,CTS ,IBM,HP,L&T,ALUNUS ,WIPRO etc.

The higher study options are MS , MBA ,M-TECH ,JRF ,SRF ,PHD etc.

Also you must be qualify in GATE ,CAT,MAT exam.

yes a computer science engineer can also join Government JOBS..and there are lots of other opportunity for computer science branch similar to other electrical branches in all government jobs like

  1. Indian railway under signal section
  2. BSNL(bharat sanchar nigam limited)
    click here http://www.mp.bsnl.co.in/ to get more information and notification mostly come in the month of feb and exam will be held in april/may.
  3. ISRO(Indian space research organisation)

    There is no form for applying ISRO you need to go to isro website and fill your form but before that you need to make a D.D of 100/- and then you need to apply to website..then you need to note down your application form no and take print of the

    generated form and sent to the ISRO address.
  4. DRDO(Defense research and development organisation)
  5. ECIL(Electronic cooperation of india limited)
  6. AAI(Airport authority of India)
  7. SAIL(Steel authority of india)
  8. RRB(Railway recruitment board)
  9. UPSC(Union Public Service Commission )
    click here www.upsc.gov.in to get more information and exams will be conducted on 12th June. and last date of applying for the same is 21at March...
