Re: Is 12th failed students eligible for applying engineering course?

You have to clear your 12th std first.
If you failed only in 1 subject, you may write the compartmental exam.
But if you failed in more than 1 subject, then you will have to write it in the next academic year.
After clearing your papers you may apply for various engineering exams.
Engineering is much more difficult than your 12th grade.

Any engineering course has following eligibility criteria:

*10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

*Minimum of 50% marks required is 10+2 for engineering course.

Admission is done either on basis of entrance exam or direct admission under management quota seats. Minimum of 50% marks is required, you are not eligible for any course having compartment in mathematics.

Re: Is 12th failed students eligible for applying engineering course?

You can not get admission in any engineering college if you have failed in any subject of 10+2. There is no counselling for 10+2 failed student.

Eligibility criteria:

1. Those who have passed 10+2 with PCM subjects can apply for engineering courses.

2. Minimum of 50% marks is required to apply for entrance exams.

You should appear for compartment exam or reappear next year to become eligible for engineering course.
