The eligibility criteria for Bachelor's degree in genetic engineering is as below: Academic qualification: You must have done 10+2 from a recognized board with Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. Biology is necessary in 10+2 to apply for this stream of engineering. The cut off percentage of marks in 12th is 50% for open category candidate. It is 45% marks for reserved category candidate. |

To be eligible to get admission for pursuing Genetic Engineering course, you should have to pass 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects from a Government recognised board. It is best to score at least 60% aggregate marks in your 12th standard and you have to appear and qualify the engineering entrance examinations like JEE, KCET, etc., and secure good rank in the entrance examination and participate in the counselling process to get a seat for pursuing Genetic Engineering course. |
