Re: Can one take admission in BA after a year gap of completing Intermediate? BA is a 3 year Graduation course being offered by so many colleges in India. Usually, candidates can get direct admission for this course in many of the colleges on merit basis. However some top colleges will conduct Entrance Exam in order to give admission. A gap certificate usually do not required since you would like to join BA course and that too for a gap of 1 year. But, still you can check with the college while taking application form. I am not sure of the reason for the gap but my suggestion would be to ensure this academic gaps will not be repeated in future. Most of the companies will not accept academic gap of more than 2 years. Hope you have scored good percentage of marks in Intermediate and continue the same performance in BA also. Soon after completion of BA course, you can join any of the below courses MA MBA Admission for both these courses would be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam. Hence start preparing for the respective Entrance exam from the final year of Graduation itself. Gain good subject knowledge and communication skills in BA course which are very important if you want to go for job opportunities. |

After submitting a gap certificate you can cake admission in any regular college an there will be no problem while applying for graduation once you submit gap certificate . |

Re: Can one take admission in BA after a year gap of completing Intermediate? Yes, your brother will have to produce a gap certificate if he wants to take admission in BA after a year gap of completing intermediate. He can produce some skill oriented certificate for it. |

Re: Can one take admission in BA after a year gap of completing Intermediate? Yes, you can take admission in B.A course after a year gap of completion of Intermediate course. Most of the colleges/ universities offers admission to B.A course even if the candidate is having one or two years gap after completion of Intermediate. It depends on the college/ university you wish to take admission for pursuing B.A course. You have to directly visit the college/ university where you wish to take admission to know more about the admission process. |

Can one take admission in BA after a year gap of completing Intermediate? My brother have one year gap after 12th Board exams. Does he need a gap year certificate for taking admission into BA? Or, can he directly apply in any regular colleges? Will he face any issues while applying for graduation? |
