Re: What is the eligibility to apply for AFCAT entrance examination? AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test. The examination is conducted for recruitment as an officer in the Air Force. The eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree with minimum 60% aggregate. So, you are not eligible to appear for the examination, if you have scored less than 60% in bachelor or master degree. The common age limit is 20-24 years. Examination is conducted iin two stages. |

The minimum academic qualification required for this examination: >>In case of Flying branch, the qualification required is bachelor' degree in science or engineering from a recognized institute. >>For ground duty branch, any stream candidate can apply. The age limit for Flying branch is 20-24 years and that for Ground duty branch is 20-26 years. At present, you can apply for AFCAT exam by Indian Air Force. There is written test and Service Selection board for final selection. |

Re: What is the eligibility to apply for AFCAT entrance examination? The full form of AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test. It is conducted twice every year by Indian Air Force. The age criteria for Flying branch is 20-24 years and that for Ground duty branch is 20-26 years. B.Sc in Science or B.Tech candidates are eligible for Air Force Flying branch. For Ground duty branch, graduation in any stream is required. You can know more at Click here . |

Eligibility to apply for AFCAT entrance examination: <> For Flying: Candidates should have passed 10+2 with physics and math with at least 60% marks in each subject and B.E/B.Tech degree from a recognized University. <> For Ground Duty (Tech): Candidates must have a 4 year degree qualification and have cleared sections A and B examinations of Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers or Aeronautical Society of India with 60% Marks. <> For Ground Duty (Non-Tech): Candidates must have passed B.Com with minimum 60% Marks. For Education posts, The candidates must have passed MBA/MCA or M.A/M.Sc . |
