Having completed your Class 12th i.e; intermediate degree course from NIOS board which is one of the three national board of education, you are eligible to apply for NDA entrance examination as far as the minimum educational requirement for the same examination is concerned as NIOS is one of the three national board of education recognised by MHRD. Apart from the educational qualification, you need to be an unmarried Indian male candidate with your age lying within 16.5 years to 19.5 years. Physical fitness as per the service requirement norms for the same examination is concerned. To apply for NDA entrance examination, all you need to do is to fill its online application form by referring to the link www.upsc.gov.in when the application form for the same examination is available which is usually available in February in case of NDA I entrance examination and August in case of NDA II entrance examination. Re: Can I apply for NDA after completion of Intermediate from NIOS Board? NDA stands for National Defense Academy. This exam is conducted by UPSC every year. NDA has three wings: Indian Navy, Indian Army, Indian Air Force. The eligibility criteria to apply for this exam is Candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCM from a recognized board. Candidate age must lie between 16.5 years to 19.5 years. So, yes you are eligible to apply for NDA after completion of 10+2 from NIOS board. Yes, definitely you can apply for NDA examination after completing your intermediate from NIOS board because it is also a valid board. This exam is conducted twice in a year in the month of April and September. Application forms can be filled in the month of January for NDA 1 that is for the month of April. And for NDA 2 you can fill the application forms in the month of June or July. |
