Is it possible to prepare right from the beginning. What are the books for references. I am studying physics chemistry maths. Computer is not in my syllabus. Is it compulsory for jam exam |

IIT JAM is a test for admission in Msc or Msc-Phd programs at IITs. Your selection will be determined on the basis of rank in this exam. You must have done graduation with atleast 55% marks , although people who get selected are generally have above 60%. You should apply for admission in that subject in which you have completed graduation. For the syllabus : Click Here Exam pattern : You can appear in one or two among these test papers : ## Biotechnology ## Chemistry ## Computer Applications ## Geology ## Geophysics ## Mathematical Statistics ## Mathematics ## Physics All The test papers except Computer application & Biotech are objective cum subjective , while these two are objective. Weightage will be 30%, 70% for objective & subjective respectively. These is negative marking too. So, start preparing though sample papers and as per syllabus and then you will definitely cracked this examination for more details check official website. |
