As per latest modification by Government of India, the annual income limit for OBC creamy layer and non creamy layer certificate is Rs 8,00,000 per annum. As your income is less than this amount, your son is eligible for Other Backward Class Non creamy layer certificate. |

Re: What is the existing income limit for OBC(NCL) as on March-2018? The Creamy layer ceiling for OBC reservation has been raised to 8 lakh per year, according to an official order. It has now been decided to raise the incoe limit from 6 lakh to 8 lakh per annum determining the creamy layer among the Other Backward Classes. The order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). |
