To join Indian Military as a Nurse -Candidate must be female -Candidate should possess the Nursing degree -Most important, citizenship must be an Indian -Required date of birth -Have to register your Nursing degree at Nursing council -Physical and Medical fitness as required -Eligible candidate can give written test -Selection process based on marks -Qualified candidates call for interview -Candidate one who passes all process will get the call letter to join in Indian Military |

Re: Chances to join Military Nursing Service for GNM(Nursing) student? Yes, you can join in Military Nursing Service after completing GNM. You can enter through entrance exam named CDS. This exam is conducted twice every year by UPSC. The eligibility requirements are as follows: - The candidate should be a citizen of India. - The educational qualification required is a B.Sc / M.Sc in nursing with minimum 60% from INC recognised university. - The marital status should be single/ unmarried/ widow/ divorcee. - The candidate should be physically fit and should not have medical illness. - The age limit should be between 19 - 25 years. If you meet the requirements then you can apply for the exam. For notifications, application forms and other information you can visit the official website of UPSC. |
