Having completed your Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as your subjects, you are eligible to join Indian Air force as an Airman (Y group). Further, to apply for Indian Airforce Airmen recruitment (Y Group), you must have following qualifications :- * You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate. * Your age must lie within 17 years to 21 years. * You must have completed your Class 12th in any discipline with at least 50% marks overall from a recognised board. Also, you must have scored at least 50% marks in the English paper. * You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms. Re: Availability of jobs in Indian Air Force on the basis of Intermediate from Science stream? You will become eligible for recruitment as an officer in Indian Air Force after 12th through NDA entry. The examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in 12th from a recognised board with PCM as main paper. The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.
