As per the guidlines of central board of secondary education (CBSE) the minimum age to appear in the 10th board exam is 14 years , as of 31st december of the year of examination . However , there is no upper limit of age to appear in the exam. For the CBSE 10th board 2020, your son's age would be 12 years, so he is under age for next years CBSE 10th board exam. |

The age criteria to appear for the examination varies with state as it is the responsibility of Directorate of State Education department. So, visit the concerned office for detail information. |

The minimum age criteria required for appearing in the CBSE Class 10th board examination is 14 years as on the 1st October of that year in which the candidate has got admitted to his/her Class 10th. So, being born 13th May 2008, your son is underage for appearing in the CBSE board examination at this moment. What is the standard age criteria to be eligible to appear for 10th CBSE Board exams? My son's birthday is 13th May, 2008. Is he eligible to appear for 10th class CBSE Board exams as per his birth date? Please give me reply. Thanks. |
