After completing B.Tech you need to do M.Tech in that field only in which you have done graduation.GATE exam conducted by IITs offers various streams in which the candidate can take the exam.Instrumentation,electronics,electrical,comput er science,information technology,mechanical,etc are the various streams offered.Also you can do MBA after graduation to study the business administration techniques. |

Suppose if you want get good job in these following companies you need to do B.Tech BHEL ECIL DRDL DRDO BSNL SAIL GAIL IES CIVIL IAS IAF In all the above companies more jobs are available for B.Tech students. In software companies most of the companies are recruiting the B.tech students like HCL INFOSYS IBM ACCENTURE COGNZANT WIPRO CISCO If you want apply for all these companies you should have Any Graduation that why most of the students are choosing B.Tech. Re: Is it possible to do btech after diploma? hi...... in andhra there is an exam called Ecet in order to apply for btech... these people are called as lateral entries.... they can join directly in 2nd year of btech....there will be predefined ceats in every college like 10% of branch ceats will be alloted to lateral entries... even student can change their branch based on their exam reults........ all d best........ |

Yes,it is possible to do the engineering course after completion of diploma course.But you have to give some entrance exams for getting seat in engineering college. The entrance exams namely as LEET and ICET. Read the newspaper everyday for knowing the entrance exam dates or if you have knowledge searchi in internet. |

Re: Is it possible to do btech after diploma? Sure, you are eligible for the B.Tech course. The minimum education required to pursue a B.Tech course is either 12th standard or a Diploma holder. Since you are a Diploma holder you have already have the basic knowledge in this field. So you are eligible to join the second year through the lateral entry scheme. There are quite a few institute which allow Diploma holder to join in the second year. You will need to appear for an entrance exam. Also make sure you have a good score in the Diploma course. Since you are in the final year you must surely start preparing for the entrance exam. Going in for the B.Tech course is the best option available to you. If you are not interested in the same then you can join for some short term certificate course but to have a degree will help you get a good position in your career. |
