Re: Is there any Eligibility Test for Lectureship in Pharmacy? There is no specific eligibility test for lectureship in Pharmacy. It totally depends on the college or university where you are applying for lectureship. You must have passed your B.Pharm or M.Pharm degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Many good Colleges and Universities prefer GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude test) and NET (National Eligibility Test) qualified candidates for lectureship. |

 You can apply for lecturership through appearing for NET(National Eligibility Test) entrance examination, which is conducted by UGC(University Grants Commission) twice every year in the months of June and December. The eligibility criteria required for NET examination are prescribed as below:- * Either post- graduates with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) or final year students of post- graduation from any UGC recognised university. * Age limit- 21-28 yrs for JRF and no age bar for Lecturership. * Age relxation- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contendors. * Nationality- Indian. Re: Is there any Eligibility Test for Lectureship in Pharmacy? National Eligibility Test (NET) covers all the subjects including Pharmacy. You can not apply for lectureship in any government college without having appeared for the entrance exam. It has been made mandatory by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development. Therefore you will have to appear for the NET entrance exam by the University Grants Commission. The exam is conducted twice in a calendar year. First time in June and second time in December. You must have master degree to apply for the National Eligibility Test. Below I have written all the criteria to apply. NET Eligibility 1. You should be a citizen of India. 2. Only Post graduation degree holders can apply. 3. You should have completed degree from a UGC recognized university. 4. Must have scored at least 55 percent marks. 5. SC/ST candidates need 50 percent marks. 6. Final year students are also eligible to apply. 7. They have to madatory submit degree in 2 years to avoid disqualification. 8. NET subject should be relevant to your master degree. 9. You can appear for NET exam as many times as you want. Age Limit 1. The age limit is 28 years for those applying for JRF. 2. In case candidate is OBC, upto 3 years relaxation is given. 3. Similarly SC/ST candidate gets 5 years relaxation. 4. There is no upper age limit for lectureship. |

Which is conducted by UGC(university grant commission). The minimum eligibility for taking this test is that you should be having a minimum of 55% of marks in your graduation and there is no age limit for this exam |

Post graduation in the subject with at least 55% marks. Post graduation should be from recognized university. age limit- no age limit. EXAMINATION PATTERN The exam consist three papers. Syllabus paper I: It is a objective type paper. General knowledge Current affairs Aptitude and reasoning It is for 100 marks paper II Core subjects it is for 100 marks Paper III Selected core subjects It is for 200 marks Total marks are : 400 you can select pharmacy. |

To become a lecturer you need to take NET exam conducted by UGC and CSIR. to write NET you need to complete your M.Phar. by this you can become lecturer in govt colleges. if you are an B.Phar/M.Phar degree holder with 60% or above then you can become a contract based lecturer in D.Phar or B.Phar colleges. To become a lecturer in the the D.Pharma :: You must have done your B.Pharma with first Class .Only those students who have clear their Bpharm course which is of 4 years with above 60% marks are eligible to teach students in the 2 year diploma course I.e D.pharma. To become a lecturer in the the B.Pharma :: Those candidates who have completed M Pharma with first Class can get a lecturer’s job in pharmacy degree colleges. So to teach the B pharma students you must first complete your M.Pharma course with more then 60% marks . |

Hello friend, To become a lecturer in Pharmacy or related subject, you will have to take National Eligibility Test for lectureship conducted jointly by the UGC and The council of scientific and industrial research-CSIR. TO be eligible for the test, you must hold a masters degree in the relevant subject and must have scored a minimum of 55% in the same. There is no maximum age limit to apply for the exam. |
