Re: What are the steps to become an IAS officer from grade 7 onwards Start the exam preparations at least 2-3 months before the exam. Plan for the exam, by collecting detailed exam syllabus. Exam preparation can be made using year book and text books for CSAT. A Modern Approach to Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning by RS Agarwal, Analytical Reasoning by MK Pandey, Civil Services Success Planner by Sharma K K, CSAT General Studies Manual by Jha, etc can be used. Collect previous year question papers and solve the same. |

Re: What are the steps to become an IAS officer from grade 7 onwards Graduation is the basic qualification required for IAS. So, after obtaining education up to graduation, you can apply for IAS Officer Post. Applications can be submitted online through the web portal of UPSC. Selection is done through two stages or written test, prelims and mains. Those who qualify written test have to attend interview as well. |
