Yes, you can join Indian Army after completing BCom through UPSC exam, which notified by UPSC under the aegis of CDS in March / April and September / October. Age limit Indian Military Academy - 19 to 25 years Air Force - 19 to 22 years Officer training academy - 19 to 25 years Indian Naval Academy - 19 to 23 years. |

Re: B.Com graduates are eligible to get into Indian Army or not? Yes, you are eligible to join Indian Army even if you are a B.Com graduate. To join Indian Army after completion of your B.Com course, you have to appear in UPSC CDS examination by satisfying the eligibility criteria mentioned below:- —> You should be a citizen of India. —> You should have passed Bachelor’s degree course in any discipline from a government recognised college/ university. —> You should be in the age range of 19 to 24 years. —> You should be an unmarried male candidate. —> You should be physically as well as mentally healthy. |

Being a graduate and 24 years old, you are eligible for joining Indian Army as a commissioned officer through CDS examination while you are even eligible to join as a junior commissioned officer through its respective recruitment process. For entry as commissioned officer, you are required to join OTA ( Officer's Training Academy ) by qualifying CDS examination held twice every year by UPSC while for entry as junior commissioned officer at various posts, you are required to qualify respective recruitment test held by Indian Army based on available vacancy. B.Com graduates are eligible to get into Indian Army or not? Sir, myself Dijo Binoy and I have completed my 12th from Commerce stream and then graduation in B.Com. Now, I am 24 years old. Am I eligible to join Indian Army? If yes, then what is the application procedure? Is there any entrance? At which post can I join? |
