Re: Am eligible to write CTET examination while being in final year of B.Com? Yes, it is necessary to have B.Ed degree to appear for the CTET examination along with undergraduate degree. There is no age limit to appear for the CTET examination. Candidates after qualifying in the examination will become eligible for selection as teacher in government schools. Entrance examination is conducted by NTA. So, you will have to pursue B.Ed course to become eligible to appear in the examination. |

For TGT recruitment, the eligibility to appear in CTET is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university and also have B.Ed or D.Ed qualification. There is no age limit to appear in the examination. So, you are not eligible to appear for the examination without have B.Ed or D.Ed qualification. CTET examination is conducted by NTA. |

Re: Am eligible to write CTET examination while being in final year of B.Com? No, you are not eligible to appear in CTET examination in the last year of your graduation because the candidate must have completed B.Ed course after graduation in order to appear in this exam. |

Being a final year student of B.Com degree course, you are eligible for appearing in CTET ( Central Teacher Eligibility Test) only if you have opted for any teacher training course such as D.El.Ed/D.Ed/ or any other equivalent teacher training course otherwise you will be required to pursue a teacher training course such as D.Ed/ D.El.Ed/ B.Ed after completion of your B.Com degree course to appear in CTET. Am eligible to write CTET examination while being in final year of B.Com? I am a third year B.Com student. Am I eligible to apply for CTET exam? If not then, what are the options to become a teacher? What should I study further? Is B.Ed also necessary for teacher jobs? |
