Re: Date of upcoming IAS preliminary exam? The exam is on 12th June,2011. If you have not applied for the exam,then you can apply next year.The last date to apply for this year is already over. You can get the notification of the exam on the UPSC website. Keep checking the website for notification. www.upsc.gov.in |

Re: Date of upcoming IAS preliminary exam? The IAS exam held every year and conducted by UPSC. This exam has two phase. First you have to appear for the Preliminaries and then if you were selected in prelims then called for the mains. This year prelims held on 12th june and the main exam held on 29th october. |

Well if you are thinking to fil application form now then sorry to say but the last date to fill the application form has been over so you can not fill this form this year .You have to wait till next year.Civil service exam is conducted by UPSC to select candidates for IAS,IPS and other services . Important dates:: Date of Notification was: 19.02.2011 Last Date for Receipt of Applications was: 21.03.2011 Date of Examination is : 12.06.2011 Eligibility :: You must be graduate with any stream from a recognized college. You age should be between 21 to 30 years if you fall into general category .There is relation given to reserved caste students in upper age limits and no of attempts . 35 year is upper age limit for SC/ST 33 years is upper age limit for OBC No of attempts :: 4 for general students 7 for OBC students No limit for SC/ST For more information::http://www.upsc.gov.in/ |

Re: Date of upcoming IAS preliminary exam? Sorry, the last date for submitting the application form has passed. Te notification date was 19.02.2011, and the last date to receive application form was 21.03.2011. Best of luck for next time. |

The UPSC Preliminery examination are going to be held on 12/June/2011. So, if you have already apply for this examination, then please prepare for this examination well because the examination was near. And those who have missed the chance in this year, then they cam apply for this examination next time in the month of February. And the Main examination was held on 29/Oct/2011. And those who clear the preliminery examination are eligible to apply for Main examination. The Preliminary Examination shall now comprise of two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each and of 2 hours duration each. The questions will be of multiple choice, objective type in preliminery examination.
