If you had done 12th board, then you can apply for CPT ( competive proficiency test.

This is held on june and december i.e twice in a year.

The notification would come in april and in october month.

After clearing the CPT,candidate need to appear for IPCC exam and the articleship training.

The application cost is Rs 100/_

The registration fee Rs6000/-

Its an online and offline method to apply.

** for graduates they have direct entry route. There is no need for CPT.

Candidate who wants to enrol CA course, need to finished 6 months of articleship and then eligible for IPCC exam.

Yes you can do. Let us guide you with most of the details of CA so that you could take right decision and then head yourself for a successful career.
And as far as "distance learning" course thing is concerned, i don't think that any of such clause is necessary for the CA course.

Also, first of all you need to know the basic eligibility criteria for the CA. Then only we can proceed with the rest of the discussion.

>> one can register with the CPT if he has completed 10th standard from a recognized board in India.

>> You can also apply after the class 12th.

Now let us discuss some more of its aspects.
See, for CA you need to enroll for Executive level of Chartered Accountancy course. The list of the centers s available on the official website of the CA i.e.

www.icai.org

Discussing about the CA course, so it has got 3 levels which a candidate needs to clear to become a CA. Those three stages in CA are-

- Common Proficiency Test(CPT)
- IPCC ( 2 GROUPS)
- Final examination

The subjects in Executive level are-

1. Accounting
2. Law, Ethics and Communication
3. Cost Accounting and Financial Management
4. Taxation
5. Advanced Accounting
6. Auditing and Assurance
7. Information Technology and Strategic Management
