Dear sinuagnes...NET is National Elegibility Test .it is a basic requirement for becoming a lecturer(proffessor) in Degree colleges.As the name suggests it is a National level Test The age limit to appear NET is 28 years as on or before 1st June of the academic year... On the other hand SET is State Elegibilty Test...It is conducted in state level... A person is required to clear this exam if he/she wants to be selected as Higher Secondary school teachers & Non Vocational Teachers in Vocational Higher Secondary School teachers There is no age limit for people appearing SET |

Re: Age limit for writing NET exam of Kerala? AGE LIMIT FOR NET EXAM After MASTERS DEGREE , you are eligible for NET exam but your degree must be from UGC approved university. Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam. For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree. Part time course are not eligible for NET exam. For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years. For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years. NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance. |
