Re: What is the age limit for studying in LKG standard? Minimum age to study or get admission into LKG standard in CBSE affiliated school is 3.5 years (or 3 years 6 months). Since, your son's DOB is 9th April 2016 so as of now his age is 3 years 5 months. This age is correct for LKG but there could be some issues in future while appearing for Board exams because his age is around 0.5 year (6 months less) than required. Actually, age is mostly calculated on 31st March for checking eligibility. If we calculate age as per 31st march date, then his age would be approx. 3 years. |

What is the age limit for studying in LKG standard? My son was born on 9th April, 2016. Now he is studying in LKG. Is this age correct or not for LKG? Will it be any problem in his future to attend board exam? |
