Yes, you can appear for UPSC(Union Public Service Commission)/IAS(Indian Administrative Services) exam.

These are the eligibility criteria for UPSC IAS exam:-

A) Bachelor degree in any stream with any reputed university.

B) Age limit is 21-32 years.

C) Students are in final year are also eligible.

D) Age relaxation is granted to SC/ST and OBC students.

E) Indian Citizenship.

Yes, you can definitely apply the Civil Services examination (often known as UPSC examination) or other PSC examinations having completed your bachelor's degree in distance mode as far as the educational requirement for the same are concerned provided you have your university is approved by UGC and DEC for distance mode education.

Yes, bachelor degree pursued in distance mode from a recognised open university are eligible to appear in the UPSC Civil Service Examination.

Examination is conducted in three stages for final selection. So, you are eligible to appear in the examination after the bachelor degree in distance mode.

Same is the eligibility criteria for the state public service commission. For more details about the examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

Civil Service Examination is conducted by UPSC. The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The age limit is 21-32 years. Candidates completed the bachelor degree in distance mode are eligible to appear in the examination.

So, you are eligible to appear in the examination.

Can a distance education degree holder appear for UPSC/IAS exam?

Hi, I have completed my Graduation via distance mode of education. So, can I appear for either of UPSC or IAS examination? What about state's public service commission exams?
