Re: Eligibility to apply for Block Development Officer examination?

You are not eligible for recruitment as BDO ( Block Development Officer ) as per the mentioned or present qualification.

To become B.D.O candidates have to appear and qualify in the PSC examination. The common eligibility to appear in PSC examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The age limit varies with state. There is also relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category.

So, you have to pursue bachelor degree to become eligible to appear in the examination.

Re: Eligibility to apply for Block Development Officer examination?

To become Block Development Officer (BDO), one is required to qualify PSC examination held by concerned state PSC.

Further, the minimum education required to apply for any state PSC is a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university.

So, having just completed your 3 year Diploma course, you are not eligible for appearing in any state PSC examination and therefore to become BDO as even full time diploma degree course after Class 12th is not equivalent to a graduation degree course.
