Re: Is it necessary to opt Science after 10th to study further Automobile Engineering? The eligibility to get admission in B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering course is that candidate must have passed 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main paper. So, you have to pursue science stream to become eligible to appear in the examination for admission in the course. It is four year course. Entrance examination is conducted by various institutions for admission in the course. |

Yes, it is mandatory to complete Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects to be eligible for pursuing Automobile engineering course i.e; B.E./B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering unless you opt for Diploma in Automobile engineering course after your Class 10th. |

If you are interested in Automobile engineering - you can take admission in diploma in automobile engineering or Bachelor in Technology in Automobile engineering. To get admission in B.Tech course - the required eligibility is that candidate must have passed 12th in PCM as main paper. So, you have to pursue the science stream to become eligible to pursue B.Tech course. |

The first general thing I would like to let you know is that the minimum education required to pursue a degree course in engineering in any discipline is a Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects from a recognised board of education. Students pursuing diploma in engineering degree course are also eligible to pursue degree course in engineering in concerned discipline. So, in order to opt for degree course in Automobile engineering, it is mandatory for you to opt for Science stream with PCM group in your Class 12th or you can go for Diploma in Automobile engineering course too. |

Is it necessary to opt Science after 10th to study further Automobile Engineering? Sir, I am going to appear the Board exam of 10th standard. I want to study Automobile Engineering. So, is it important to take Science stream only after 10th for studying Automobile Engineering? |
