Re: What are physical and mental qualifications for NDA Qualifications needed for NDA exam : Candidates must have completed their intermediate from a recognized board. PCM students are eligible for Navy and Air Force and arts students are eligible for Indian army. Age of candidates must be in between 16.5 years to 19.5 years. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam. Height of candidates should be 160 cms. It also depends on the region where you were born. Minimum weight should be 50 kg. Chest should be 77 cms. Thanks |

Re: What are physical and mental qualifications for NDA Physical and Mental Qualification required for NDA are as under: 1. You shall have good eye vision. 2. Your weight shall be as per your weight. 3. Minimum height required is 157.5 Centimeter. 4. You are required good fitness in terms of blood pressure, mentally. 5. You shall have good presence of mind. Beside physical fitness, you shall be unmarried and your age shall lie between 16.5 years to 19 years. |

Re: What are physical and mental qualifications for NDA NDA refers to National Defense Academy and same is a defense academy meant for providing training and education to those who are looking to be a commissioned officer in Indian defense sector. Further to join NDA one needs to qualify NDA entrance examination held by UPSC twice every year in two stages which includes Written Examination and SSB ( Service Selection Board ) interview respectively. --> The basic educational qualification required for appearing in NDA entrance examination are as here under :- * You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate. * Your age must lie within 16.5 years to 19.5 years. * You must have completed your Class 12th in any discipline from a recognized board of education. Further to join Indian Navy and Indian Air force your academics must include Physics and Mathematics as main subjects. * You must satisfy the physical and mental fitness requirements as specified in the notification released for the same examination. Re: What are physical and mental qualifications for NDA Following are physical and medical qualifications for NDA exam: HEIGHT & WEIGHT:- Minimum acceptable height required is 157.5 c.m. But it is 162.5 c.m in case of Air Force. Minimum height required is 152.5 c.m. for Gorkhas and individuals belonging to hills of North Eastern regions of India, Garhwal and Kumaon candidates. TEETH:- You must have sound , healthy & natural teeth. You must not suffering from Pyorrhoea. EAR, NOSE, THROAT :- You must not have any past record of ear, nose & throat. Your hearing must be normal. Audiometric test is also done for air force |

Re: What are physical and mental qualifications for NDA NDA is conducted twice a year by UPSC for the recruitment in three branches Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force. No percentage criteria to apply for NDA. You must hold (10+2) qualification to apply for NDA. Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 years. Physical and Mental Eligibility of NDA - You must have good physical and mental health and free from disease/disability. - No evidence of weak constitution. - No overweight or obese. Physical Standards - Height : Minimum 157.5 For Army and 162.5 For Air Force. - Weight should be in proportion to height. - Eye Sight (Uncorrected without Glass) : 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other eye. NDA Syllabus - Mathematics (300 Marks) - General Ability (600 Marks) |

Re: What are physical and mental qualifications for NDA Here are complete details for NDA: Height requirement: Minimum 157.5 cms Weight shall be as per height: 50-60 Kg (tentative) Candidate shall be physically and mentally fit and not have any serious disease. Blood pressure and blood HB shall be standard. Beside physical eligibility, you have to fulfill the age and education requirement to get entry in NDA: Age: 16.5 to 19 years Education: 12th passed. |
