In order to get eligible for loco pilot exam, one must have done tenth along with ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/ automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics from an recognised institute. Age must be in between 18 to 28 years, however age relaxation is given to reserved category students. |

Eligibility to apply for train locopilot: - The candidate should have minimum qualification of tenth from a recognised board. - The candidate should have done ITI diploma also in the concerned subject. - Then apply for RRB locopilot exam. |

Candidates must have completed a ITI course from a AICTE recognised institute. 2. Candidates age should be 18 years to 28 years. So without having an ITI course no one are not eligible for the post of Loco Pilot in Indian Railways. |

You can apply for Loco Pilot job of Indian Railways while studying in 12th standard, but you can join the post only after you complete your 12th standard successfully. Without completing 12th, you won't be eligible for Loco Pilot post. If you are from Science stream, then you can apply for Loco Pilot post after 12th only. But if you are from Commerce stream, then you need to complete ITI course in fitter/electrician/mechanics. Other than ITI course, you can pursue Diploma course in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil. Age limit for Loco Pilot job is 18 to 30 years. After 12th, you can apply for Loco Pilot job through RRB exam conducted Railway zones regularly. Firstly, Written Test is conducted followed by Personal Interview. |

Re: Can I apply for Train Loco Pilot while continuing my Intermediate? For recruitment as Loco Pilot, you have to appear and qualify in examination conducted by RRB. The required eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed diploma from a recognised institution. The minimum age limit is 18 years.
