No, you cannot apply for AFCAT examination without completing bachelor degree. AFCAT examination is conducted for three branches named below:- 1. Ground Duty Branch. 2. Flying Branch. 3. Technical Branch. The educational qualification required for the AFCAT examination mentioned below:- 1. Ground Duty Branch:- Candidates must have completed their bachelor or master degree in any stream with at least 60% marks from any recognised college or, university. Flying Branch:- Candidates must have completed their bachelor degree in any stream or in Engineering stream with at least 60% marks from any recognised college or, university. Technical Branch:- Candidates must have completed their bachelor degree in Aeronautical Engineering with at least 60% marks from any recognised college or, university. 2. Age limit:- Ground Duty Branch(20-27 years). Flying Branch(19-23 years). Technical Branch(18-28 years). 3. Age relaxation:- 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. 4. Nationality:- Indian. 5. Sex:- Both male and female. 6. Physically and mentally fit. |

Re: Can I apply for the AFCAT entrance exam with 12th from Commerce stream? The acronym AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test. AFCAT is conducted twice every year by Indian Air Force. You can apply for AFCAT exam for ground duty branch. There are three branches for recruitment through AFCAT exam called Technical, Flying and ground duty branch. Commerce graduates are eligible for Ground Duty branch only. |

Minimum 60% marks in graduation. 60% marks in 12th with math as main subject. Age not exceed than 25 years . Good command on English. Good communication skill. So yes you can apply. |

Eligibility criteria is given below:- AFCT eligibility criteria:- Ground Duty Branches:- Age 20 to 27 years of age Educational qualification:- Post graduation or bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% aggregate marks. Flying branch:- Age: 19 years to 23 years Education:- B.E/ B.Tech degree or a graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Technical Branch:- Age: 18 to 28 years of age Educational qualification:- Aeronautical engineering with minimum 60% marks. |

The minimum required educational qualification is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in the final year of bachelor degree. So, you will become eligible to appear in examination next year.
