Re: What is the upper age limit for LKG in CBSE affiliated schools in Chennai? Age limit for LKG is May 1 - April 30 for every academic year. That means if a parent looking for LKG admission during the academic year 2020 - 2021 then their kid must be born between may.1.2016 and April.30.2017. |

What is the upper age limit for LKG in CBSE affiliated schools in Chennai? What is the upper age limit for admission to LKG in Chennai? My son was born on 4th June, 2015 and presently he is studying in Pre-Kg at a playschool. When I approached a regular school for admission to LKG they said he is too old to be admitted in LKG and couldn't be admitted in UKG by skipping LKG. Basically my son was refused the right to education just because being born in the month of June. Please advise. |
