Re: Way to become DSP/Sub Inspector after studying 12th standard?

After 12th you can not appear for the DSP District Sub Inspector of Police or Sub inspector of Police posts only the graduates can apply for the SI posts and DSP

There are certain entrance examinations which are available to apply for entry in to the SI or DSP posts and you can take any bachelor degree or graduation courses in which you have interest and then appear for the SSC SI recruitment test which is the Staff Selection Commission and it conducts the recruitment for Sub Inspector of Police and appear for it and after getting short listed you will be given the post

There are certain eligibility such as
  • Should belong to the Citizen of India
  • Should have attained 20 years and not exceed 25 years
  • Should hold graduate degree course in any discipline
