Re: What should be the minimum score in Intermediate to be eligible for writing NEET?

The acronym NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It is conducted by National Testing Agency for admission in MBBS and BDS courses.

Academic qualification required is 12th passed from a recognized board with PCB subjects. You must secure minimum of 50% marks in board examination of 12th.

You must aim to score better percentage of marks rather than just aiming at qualifying percentage of marks.

NEET is National Eligiblility Cum Entrance Test. It is conducted by NTA for admission in the medical courses.

The eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th board examination with PCB as main paper with minimum 50% aggregate.

So, if you will minimum 50% in 12th then you are eligible to get admission in MBBS course after qualifying in NEET.

You must have passed class XII with at least 50% marks together in physics, chemistry and biology subjects to apply for NEET. Belonging to OBC/SC/ST and PH categories require only 40% marks and 45% marks respectively in class XII.

Eligibility for NEET
- You must have passed class XII with physics, chemistry and biology subjects with at least 50% marks (40% marks for OBC/SC/ST and 45% for PH categories) from a recognized board.
- Your age must be at least 17 years. No upper age bar.

Re: What should be the minimum score in Intermediate to be eligible for writing NEET?

To be eligible for appearing in NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test), the minimum education required is a Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate in PCB group from a recognised board of education. Marks relaxation of 10% is allowed for OBC/SC/ST category candidates while the same in case of PWD category candidates is 5%.

So, if you manages to secure above mentioned minimum required marks in your Class 12th then you will be eligible to apply for NEET.
