Eligibility:- --Candidate must passed 12th from a recognized board with minimum of 50-60%Mark's with Physics,Chemistry ,Math or Biology as a Main Subjects --Candidate must appear and passed out the entrance exam which is conducted according to your state. |

Biotechnology through their JEE entrance exam or entrance exams conducted by the private universities. Check more about the b-tech biotechnology admission eligibility |

Re: Is Biology necessary for studying B.Tech Biotechnology? Yes,you are eligible for doing B.Tech Biotechnology. The requirements for this course is you have to pass 12th examination from a recognized national or state level board of education with science stream. Students who take physics,chemistry ,biology can apply for the course and also those who take physics, chemistry and mathematics are also eligible for it. This is a nice field and has got more scope in today's modern world. There are many career opportunities in this course. |

Re: Is Biology necessary for studying B.Tech Biotechnology? Yes, Biology is a must subject for getting admission to B.Tech in Biotechnology. As per eligibility conditions required for B.Tech in Biotechnology, student should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics with at least 55% marks. Since, you have not opted Biology in 10+2, so you won't be able to get admission in B.Tech Biotechnology. |

The eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board in PCM or PCB as main paper. Entrance examination is conducted by various institutions for admission in the course. |

Is Biology necessary for studying B.Tech Biotechnology? Hi, I have done 12th from Science stream with subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). I have not studies Biology. So, is it possible to do B.Tech in Biotechnology? |
