Criteria and procedure to apply for the post of Doctor in Indian Army:- There are two ways 1- You can join through CDS exam conducted by UPSC but mind you, your job through this entry is no where related to medical field. There is an entry for doctors after MBBS and here you can join as doctor in armed force. There is also AFMC exam for MD you can try that. |

The Army medical Corps under the Government of India annually offers Short Service Commission for MBBS graduates who have passed the course in the first or second attempt and have completed internship as an officer. The candidate must have obtained permanent registration from any state Medical Council or the medical council of India. |

Criteria and procedure to apply for the post of Doctor in Indian Army? Hi, I am pursuing my MBBS from MGM Medical College. After completion of my MBBS I would like to join Indian Army as a Doctor. What would I have to do for that? Do I have to write any entrance? And, what is the pay scale for Doctor in Army? |
