To become a psychiatrist you need to have a medical degree courses from a recognized university. MBBS is the basic qualification that is required to become a psychiatrist. It is a 5 years course. After the completing MBBS you can pursue further studies like MD in Psychiatry which is a 3 years course. To become a Psychiatrist you can also take a Diploma course in Psychiatry or DNB in Psychiatry. The candidates whoc aspire to become a psychiatrist can also take a six year specialist training program in Psychiatry. The minimum qualification required to apply for the diploma course or MBBS is The candidates should have passed 12th level with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10th and 10+2 level. The age of the candidates should be minimum 18 years. So if you had studied PCB in 10+2 level and passed with minimum 50% you can apply for the medical entrance examination. |

Re: How to become a Psychiatrist after doing BSc in Computers To become psychiatrist one need to pursue medical course. So, after B.Sc in Computer Science you are not eligible for psychiatrist. The required educational qualification is candidate must have passed 12th with PCB and then have to pursue MBBS, MD and Diploma in Psychiatry course. So, if you have passed 12th with PCB then must have to pursue MBBS course and other higher degree courses. |

How to become a Psychiatrist after doing BSc in Computers I have done my Bsc in computers now, i want to become a psychiatrist what to do if their is any chance, please tell me in detail. |
