Indian Engineering Services Exam (IES) (also called UPSC Engineering Services Exam) is a premier competitive examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission), for selecting approximately 250-350 engineers for Government of India'a organizations such as -Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) -Central Engineering Service (CES) -Military Engineering Service (IDSE) Important dates : -The exam is going to be conducted on 14th May,2011 -Last date for the receipt of IES 2011 forms : 24-01-2011 Age criteria : -The candidate must be 21-30 years of age as on 1st August,2011 -As relaxation exists as per government rules Academic Eligibility : -A candidate must be a graduate in engineering from a recognized university -Even final year students can also appear in IES exam, provided he/she can provide the proof of passing the exam when IES exam (Written results) comes out, which is around December 2011. |

there is no exam fees for the ies exam, the application form costs rs.20 and you have to stick an stamp of rs.100 on it which is available in the post office, you can also apply online by paying rs.100 through credit card or debit card all the best |
