DSP stands for Deputy Superintendent of police. Nationality-Indian Age between 21 to 38 years. For male candidates height requirements-165 cms. For female candidates height requirements- 155cms. |

Final year candidates can also apply for the exam. You, cannot become DSP after 10+2. You must complete graduation to become eligible for this exam |

Re: What should I do to become a DSP after passing class 12th -----To become DSP you must complete your graduation and after crack the CSE exam. You can apply for civil service exams which is conducted by UPSC. Pass graduation with any stream from recognized university. |

Re: What should I do to become a DSP after passing class 12th DSP is Deputy Superitendant of Police.It is a post which is given to the police officer thorough their promotion. However one can directly appear in the civil service examination which is conducted by the UPSC. This exam is conducted in three stages.First is preliminary ,second is mains and final is interview. One has to complete all three stages and on the basis of marks as well as performance the post of Indian police service is distributed. |

After Promotion DSP becomes IPS officers after some years of Services. Actually DSPs are state police officers. You can join state police as Inspector and through promotion and departmental exams, you can become DSP. You can also attempt for Indian Police Services through Civil Services examinations. For all this, you must have graduation in any discipline from an UGC recognized university. As you have passed 10+2 only, you are not eligible now for DSP. |

The entrance exam for Indian Police Service is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission and is called Civil Services examination. Eligibility criteria: >>Minimum academic qualification required to appear for the Civil Services examination is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for the exam. You, cannot become DSP after 10+2. You must complete graduation to become eligible for this exam. This exam has three stages which you must clear: >>Preliminary exam. >>Mains examination. >>Personal interview. The age limit for the exam is 21-32 years with three years age relaxation to OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates. If you want any more information about this exam, you can visit www.upsc.gov.in. You can start your preparation from first year of graduation by reading NCERT books of Social science, science etc. |
