Please go through them and study them well Economics Commerce & Accountancy Psychology Management Select these subjects in your 10+2 group and Graduation group and study well. Minimum eligibility for IAS is Graduation. After doing Graduation, you must write civil services exam to join IAS. |

Re: Important subjects in commerce stream for IAS? IAS stands for the Indian Administrative Services. It comes under the Civil Services exam. The educational qualification required for the exam is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized stream. The age limit for the exam is 21-32 years. Upper age relaxation of three years to OBC and SC/ST candidates. You must concentrate on following subjects in 10+2 commerce stream as it will help you in IAS preparation: 1. Economics. 2. Accountancy. |

Re: Important subjects in commerce stream for IAS? Dear, you are just in 9th class. so first concentrate on your studies. you have so much of time for IAS. It seems you are interested in commerce. then select commerce only in Intermediate and in Degree also. Commerce related subjects for IAS are Commerce Economics Management Not only these 3 subjects, there are so many subjects for ias. you can also take any from that list. only students who did degree can apply for ias. so, you also complete your degree and then apply for IAS. |

Re: Important subjects in commerce stream for IAS? IAS Exam or Civil Services Exam is conducted by UPSC every year for IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS aspirants. There are three stages to crack IAS Exam:
In second stage, Mains Exam you will have to choose subjects for which you will be appearing in Mains Exam. So, choose only those subjects in which you have good command and enough knowledge. As you are interested in pursuing B.Com, so better choose Commerce related subjects only. Here is the list of Optional subjects of IAS Mains Exam:

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services which is a administrative service of Indian Government , This exam is conducted through UPSC every year , The interested candidates have to appear Civil Service exam.. The eligibility criteria for IAS exam are as follows : The candidates should be a citizen of India. The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university. The age limit is 21 - 30 years There is a age relaxation for reserved candidates. There is optional subjects which you can choose in IAS exam , There you can choose Commerce ,As your optional subjects. Re: Important subjects in commerce stream for IAS? Firstly I suggest you that you should have to complete your 9th standard .Still you have 3 years left for doing Graduation degree & after that IAS. After passing of 12th with minimum 50% marks then you can get admission in B.com. After completion of B.com with minimum 50% marks that you can apply for IAS Exam. The subjects is includes in IAS exam are same which you will studying in B.Com or 11th or 12th standard. Accounts Commercial & Mercantile Laws Economics You have to concentrate about all subjects which you will study in B.com. There are more subjects includes in IAS are as below:- Geography Physics Chemistry Maths All Arts & Science subjects are also includes in this which i mentioned at above. |
