No, Non - medical students are not eligible for dietitian course.
The career option for such candidates includes engineering, B.Sc. The candidates can also build career in defence side like Military forces, Air force or Navy.
Thank you.

The eligibility criteria for Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics course:

1. You must have opted for Science stream in 12th and selected compulsory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

2. Minimum of 50% marks is required.

You can not apply for this course without studying Biology at senior secondary level.

Being a PCM candidate, you can go for other courses like B.Tech, B.Sc in Agriculture, B.Pharma, Architecture course, Fashion Designing course, Hotel Management course etc.

--- The basic minimum eligibility for pursuing BSc in nutrition and dietetics is 12th qualification from a recognised Educational Board with physics, chemistry and Biology with main subjects at the intermediate level with at least 50% marks.

As you have done your 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects hence, you are not eligible to pursue such course.

In order to take a Bachelor course in Dietician, students must select Science stream in Class 12 with Biology as one of the main subjects of study
in Undergraduate Level.

The minimum eligibility for becoming a dietician or a nutrition expert is a plus two degree in the science stream.

Which Science subject combination is required to do a degree course in Dietitian?

Are 10+2 Non-Medical (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) students eligible for Dietitian course at Graduate level? If not, then what are other similar career options available for such candidates?
