Re: Can I become a CA with 49% in B.Com? YES , You can become Chartered Accountant even after you score below 50%marks. It is just that you need to start form foundation level of Chartered Accountancy. You have to register yourself with the ICAI for CPT level . You can join CPT level of Chartered Accountancy course online through official website or you can visit center of CA . They are all over India . There are three stages in CA Common Proficiency Test(CPT) IPCC (group I & II ) Final examination Even if you clear the group I and do not want to pursue you can do so AND can join 3 years practical training , after completing training you will acquire CERTIFICATE OF ACCOUNTING TECHNICAL with out completing your Group II. This means even if you completed your half Chartered Accountancy you can earn well with the help of the certificate plus your hard work you will put in your job.
