Re: Is Mechatronics Engineering department present in GATE exam?

Mechatronics, is a multidisciplinary branch of engineering that focuses on the engineering of both electrical and mechanical systems, and also includes a combination of robotics, electronics, computer, telecommunications, systems, control, and product engineering.

Yes, you may give gate in any branch Having said that you can give GATE in Mechatronics. Most likely you will be eligible too for some interdisciplinary courses..

Re: Is Mechatronics Engineering department present in GATE exam?

No, Mechatronics is not available separately in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) subject list.

But, you can appear in GATE by opting for ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) or ME (Mechanical Engineering) as your subject.

For complete details regarding the GATE subject list and eligibility criteria for different subjects, you can log on to the link www.gate.iitd.ac.in.
